Jomas McComas

I want to highlight this name suggestion...mostly because my infatuation with weird/funny names for our child drives my Mother-in-law crazy. This is from my friend Mike...who is now in Bolivia with our other friends Chad and Emily.

"You should name him/her a unisex name, but one that tends toward the opposite gender. For example, if it's a boy: Shannon, Ashley, or Cortney. If it's a girl: Ryan, Charlie, or Bobbie. OR you could name it Jomas. Jomas McComas. Rolls right off the tongue. "

Note: 'Jomas' now leads the pack in the voting for a name...plus there's the added bonus of being applicable to either a boy or a girl. Mike is right...it rolls right off the tongue.

The stork commeth

I feel like this might open a can of worms, but I'm willing to take the chance. Why? Well because I love my loyal To and Fro readers.

Please enter suggestions for the name of our child (gender yet to be determined. I will then write all entries on a piece of paper and pull one out of a hat to decide what to name our child.

Note: My top two are Maverick (of course named after the lead character in the movie Top Gun), or 'The Hulk' (actually I like any name that starts with the word 'The').

Unnamed staff person

A fellow staff person, whom shall remain nameless other than E for identification purposes has a sophomore college student J who is into her.

After multiple akward conversation between E and J this took place the other night while doing spiritual interest surveys outside of the cafeteria:

J: Hey E, what are you doing tonight?

E: Nothing much, just going home

conversation overheard by female student Jo helping E at the survey table

Jo whispering quietly to E: I think it's time to tell him your my Mom

Montana State beat Colorado!

I love this time of year when school starts back up, there's a crispness in the air, and college football begins.

Speaking of college football. Today Montana State University (I-AA) beat Colorada (I-A)!!! That's the first time since 1984 MSU has beaten a I-A foe. It's craziness! It's a headline on espn.com.
