The Staff Hunt

One of the more entertaining nights of summer project is our staff hunt. 32 of us dress up in silly disguises and roam around downtown as the 102 students try to find us. We looked pretty darn good if I do say so my self.

Here's my good friend Darren our Project Director...

Here is our fellow MSU staff women Shana looking very pregnant (she's not...that's how rumors get started!)

Students are arriving!

As we speak 100+ students are arriving in South Lake Tahoe for the start of the summer project! Pray for safe travel for them, and for them to settle in well. Pray for all of us staff to have energy and strength to make it through the busy orientation week.

On a lighter note...two giant squirrels chased me on my bike the other day and we had a black bear in the camp the other night.

Good news

Last thursday morning we found out Jody is pregnant! Our car was partly packed as we had planned on leaving Friday morning to head out to Lake Tahoe. After confirming it at the hospital we got a call from our doctor asking us to stick around untill the first ultrasound to make sure it was implanted in the right spot. Sure enough Baby McComas was! So with a week delay we arrived in Tahoe, thankful and praising the Lord. Please continue to pray for the health of Jody and the new baby. Thank you for all your prayers in this process too.

Chewing on some grass...

Jody planted some grass for Stella to chew on (supposedly it's good for cats...and she likes it).

The problem is some other people have been taking advantage of the nutritional values of grass too.

Stolen Camera!!!

What follows is an alleged incident involving to young sorority girls and an unsuspecting cat. Everyone involved is innocent untill proven guilty...although it doesn't look good for Autumn and Sarah.

I recovered my camera from the theives who visited our house last night. A picture is worth a thousand words....

Autumn and Sarah early on in the evening invading my house...

They seem to be enjoying our decorative wine bottles...
OUR ATTACK CAT POUNCES ON THE INTRUDERS!!!

The horror!!!

This makes Autumn and Sarah sad...
