Knowledge of the parent

We had to watch this video in our birthing class last weekend. I give it two thumbs up...it taught me how to hold our baby girl in the "football hold."

Please notice the 'As seen on Dr. Phil' quote on the front cover. If Dr. Phil approves, then it must work. He's amazing.

Buy our condo!

Go ahead you know you want it. Take a look here.

The birthing class

So this weekend...8am till 2 both saturday and sunday...I'll be at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital getting all learned up in a birthing class! Should be a good time. It's still kind of crazy that I'm actually going to have a child. Pretty sure I'm not mature enough.

The balance of power runs through Montana!

The US Senate is tied with 49 Dem and 49 Rep. Still to be counted and confirmed is the Montana race between Conrad Burns and John Tester...also a senate seat in Virginia is still being counted. Right now (8:42 am) tester leads by less than one percent. Another proof that your vote makes a difference. The whole power of the US government could shift from Republican to Democratic depending on the outcome of Montana! It's madness I tell you. Follow along here!

Dr. Steve Douglas

Last night was our annual Fellowship Dinner. It's the one fundraiser we do for our campus ministry here at MSU. Anyway it was an unbelievable night. We actually got to hear from Steve Douglas the president of Campus Crusade International...the largest missionary organization in the world. It's a little surreal to shake his hand, because usually we just see him talking in front of our national staff conference. Here's our staff team with him...

...please notice that I'm on my tip toes and also notice my wife's belly.

On another bizarre note....I saw Steve Douglas at the Bozeman ski swap this morning. I never thought I'd say that. His daughter, son-in-law and grandson live here in Bozeman...so apparently Steve is sticking around town for the weekend.
